Faith, Hope, & Love
The ways God shines His light to bring focus of hope back to Him...
Sometimes this takes on the form of Bible verses, sometimes prayers, sometimes little nudges that must come from God.
Shortly before my Dad passed, we had a conversation about the signs that we see from those we loved that have died. My Dad said that he did not know which sign he would send, but that it would be in the sky and that he thought my friends would always point these signs out to me so “I would know that was him, and he was near.”
I was at a outside education conference weeks later, and I was lucky enough to be on a charter fishing adventure. I looked at the setting sun, and I saw a cross in the sky, and snapped this photo.
Sure enough, a friend looked at the photo the next day and said, “Do you see that cross on the setting sun? That’s your Dad, sending you a message saying he is with you.”
Roots Brew House- Faith Hearts
This artsy faith-heart was made by an owner of a local coffeehouse, Roots Brew Shop. The way I see it, Mallory Root has been successful with her business because:
-She knows her coffee
-She operates her coffeehouse with sustainability principles in mind
-She uses her artistic skills
-She has such a strong heart-felt way of encouraging her guests
Mallory made a bunch of these watercolor art cut-outs for guests to take years ago. This little heart has reminded me of who I am and how God sees me and all those I encounter on a daily basis
