Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall has been one of my biggest heroes for many years. While I always respected her work with chimpanzees, her drive to encourage and empower groups of people to act alongside her was the key to making a lasting difference. She was (and still is) a trailblazer of hope for saving the planet.
As a science teacher, I share in Jane’s belief that we can all make such a powerful impact on the world around us. Roots and Shoots is such a terrific way to help our children, our students to take on challenges to improve our ecosystems right in front of us.
